I saw that a couple of days ago the Android 13/One UI 5 update went live on Verizon for the S22 models, including the S22 Ultra I have. However, I have yet to receive the update. I keep checking and continue to receive a message indicating my phone is up to date even though it is on the prior update S908USQS2AVI1.
After I bought the phone I noticed it was on an even earlier version of the software (I purchased in September and it had the July security patch on it) and I couldn't get it to find an update then either. I had to plug into my computer and use Samsung Smart Switch to force an update.
I've tried Smart Switch this time around but it also indicates I'm up-to-date.
I have no clue why I can't get the update, but would appreciate some help on steps I can take to ensure I'm able to get updates when they release and to understand why my phone may not be getting updates right now.
Thanks!

It seems Verizon doesn't have a clue either. They are not publishing anything about Android 13 software update except it's already out. But in the small print, it mentions if you have an unlocked S22, it may take until November before the upgrade comes out.

Frustratingly, mine is locked and still doesn't have the update!
Beyond being concerned about getting Android 13, I'm more concerned that I have yet to receive a push for a software update from Verizon. I was only able to get my device up to the latest security patch by using Smart Switch on my PC, which should not be the case. I'm not sure why my brand new phone purchased in September was still on a July security patch or why, in the days after purchase, it never prompted me for an update.

The Software updates on your devices is not through Verizon, it is through Samsung. You have to go under your system settings for any updates on the device in question. *Rhonda
