I bought this phone maybe 2 months ago. I have NEVER had the issues with another device like this one. Half the time I try to connect to a call it's like the hones microphone is dead. Sometimes it will cut in and out while talking even if I'm standing still. I took it back to the store and got it replaced and same issues. I use my phone heavily for work and this is seriously interfering with my job. What makes it more frustrating is my coworker upgraded to the same phone on t-mobile and is experiencing NONE OF THESE ISSUES.

I have done the whole reset network conditions multiple times, reboot phone, factory reset and nothing has helped.  I would greatly prefer no to but, if this continues I may have to return to that carrier just so I can continue to do my job. Even if I will have to come up with the extra funds to pay off this peice of junk.

Oh, no! Dealing with phone issues can certainly be a headache, especially if you Samsung Galaxy S23 is having microphone issues. We are here to help.

 

Aside from the replacement, any other changes (new apps, software update, etc.)? Aside from the microphone problems, any other issues?

The issues started almost day 1, I tried reseting the device, clearing the network cache and restarting it. When the battery of my previous drive would get low it would have signal issues but that's all. If I am not on bluetooth or speaker phone there is only a 25 to 30 % chance my call will be successful. Sometimes the mic will kick in after a minute or two sometimes not at all.

Given my job can frequently require calls to 911 or other Emergency services this is incredibly prohibitive to my work. I am an area manager for a private security firm and most of my job works through my phone.
