S23 ultra_auto reply ( yes/no) to a received text not working, days "failed"

Since I have had this S23 ultra phone for 3 weeks, I cannot reply to important auto text messages that require a return YES or NO reply via text. The problem started with this phone. All I get is " failed", and never goes through.Complaints all over the Internet about this problem, and never resolved. I tried every single option discussed on the internet even though it helped noone, and checked and rechecked every single phone setting, including all my App settings on this phone. I should not be paying for wireless service and an expensive phone that cannot even perform a simple function. I was on the phone with Samsung for two days and they have no clue, nor do they care.  Many of these auto reply texts are very important such as confirmation for medical appointments or a Refill from a pharmacy. Not sure why Samsung thinks it is not important to solve and have yet to have luck w Verizon too- always having technical difficulties...in a technical business.  I have tons of screenshots as examples.
