I am experiencing the same issues. Wifi only works when connected to an AC channel. If I am just connecting to wireless n router I can not get any bandwidth. Tested and verified on 5 different networks.

Has anyone had issues with putting phone on vibrate and mute but still have sound come through? The only way for me to avoid this is to turn on DND. Another PITA.

Some other weird things I have found is when the phone is on do not disturb mode and I'm on a phone call and put on speaker it hangs up the call. Also in order to get the phone when set to vibrate and mute I have to turn notifications and system volumes all the way to mite manually through settings - sounds and then place in vibrate or mute mode. Otherwise they are full volume but grayed out when setting.

I have also had wifi issues since marshmallow 6.0.1.  One poster is correct that wfi and bluetooth are not playing nice together.   Wifi dies  with Bluetooth on.  Shut Bluetooth and wifi is fine. I wiped phone to factory twice and still the same issue.  Wiped the cashe partition as i saw in other forums with no luck. Battery life is terribe now as well.  maybe it has to do with these communication issues.  I was hoping marshmallow would make batter life better with googler doze but it's worse.  Verizon tech, is there a way to reload 5.0????  This device has become unusable.

Yehh, Verizon we need something done here. I rely on my phone to not drop 2% battery in 1 minute!!! Basically carrying a brick at this point.

how about before the update, you don't say but how many apps are you continually updating fb, twitter + any other media, stocks/bonds, email, nor whether you had problems before the update.

doze works well for me, increasing batt life with the same use of the phone before the update.

Just adding a +1 as I am also experiencing the issue with my note 5 after the marshmallow update.

Both at home using an almond+ router (either the 2.4 or 5 ghz channels) and at work using a corporate cisco network. If I want to stream music to listen to on my bluetooth headphones or over my bluetooth stereo connection I have to disable wifi which is great for my date usage Smiley Sad. Needs to be fixed immediately.

My wife and I have S5 galaxies.  Both bought the same day.  Both have BT dropouts with marshmallow.  Mine had battery drain in 6.0.0, hers, not until 6.0.1.  Mine is much improved in 6.0.1.  Comparing the two, I went in the Battery control panel, and noticed, hers was running Cloud 27% of the time.  Mine was not on.  She doesn't use Cloud, so I went into application manager, and hit disable and Force Stop.  It asked if I wanted to revert to the factory version, and I replied yes.  Now her battery life is much improved, although we both run battery saver, as I will not connect with work wi-fi, as it filters too much content.  Check your Battery Control Panel under Settings to see what is draining you!
