Tried to take advantage to the S7 BOGO and still trying. Submitted all the necessary info on 3/23/16 (well before the 3/31/16 cut-off) and added the line. So, I just keep tracking my rebate through the provided website. 4/15/16 I'm shocked to see my rebate is invalidated and a whole litany of problems; some of which are really weird. But, through the chat message feature, the customer service representative is able to resolve all the "issues" and resubmits my rebate saying "all is well" and to just keep tracking over the next 15 days to find out when my rebate card has shipped.
Well, come to find out that my rebate is invalidated once again, around the end of April. This time the reason is "your purchase information is not eligible for a rebate". This makes absolutely no sense. Contact the customer service rep via the chat feature and ask "why is my rebate invalid?" The rep writes "your purchase information is not eligible for a rebate". Ummm...OK...WHY? The rep writes that they "don't know why" and that all my information is submitted correctly. The rep then "escalates" my submission to "upper management" and tells me to wait 15 days for a response. I'm like "OK".
15 days later, keep on checking my status, still marked as "invalid". Get back on the chat feature with customer (dis)service and ask again what is going on. The rep doesn't know what is going on, cannot answer the simple question of "what is preventing my submission from being approved" and re-escalates my submission to "upper management"; oh, wait 15 days.
Wait 15 days (do you see where this is going?) and still invalid. Get up on the chat, and, nobody knows anything. They now say that the escalation of the submission is pending and once that is resolved I'll get my card. They ask me to wait...guess how long...15 days and then contact them. I ask to speak with a manager and the chat rep says that the only way to do that is to call the 1-800 number. I call. The person I speak with [Removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] : massive confusion, anger, blood, and guts. The manager says that they will escalate the submission again and wait 15 days.
After that I called the regular Verizon Customer Service number (as opposed to the rebate help line) to lodge a complaint. Describe my situation but to no avail. The customer service rep records the complaint but cannot provide any resolution; you see, the rebate department deals with that...aghhhhhh!
15 days pass, no resolution. Contact rebate people, but they are somehow more than useless. I sit here in limbo, [removed], thinking about how T-Mobile will cover my switching costs and how I won't have to change out my sim card when I travel to Europe with T-Mobile's service. I am writing to Verizon Wireless now to begin the mandatory arbitration process by filling out a "Notice of Dispute" form and sending it in. I will then move to small claims court and continue as my attorney advises. Who knows, maybe this will be a whole class action thing?
If anyone else is having problems, please sound off.

ARAPAR43, we don't want you to feel any remorse about joining our network. For a limited time, you could customers buy a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge can get a second one free via a prepaid Visa card. Both devices must be purchased with a device payment plan.
Did you visit the promotion website vzw.com/digitalrebatecenter and enter the promo code S7-PROMO and the date of purchase, and upload the UPC barcode labels and device payment agreements of both devices. Once you've completed those steps, reimbursement for the price of the device of equal or lesser value would be refunded back to you via a prepaid Visa card in 8-10 weeks.
Were you provided with more details regarding why your rebate was rejected?

receive all required documention and how my tracking numbers were escalated

Verizon.

I replied to another post about a class action lawsuit...basically stating to count me in. It appears the wheels are starting to turn to get a class action lawsuit in order. This is absolutely without question a bullshit way for Verizon to drag their feet on giving A LOT of people over $600 for a phone. I would have NEVER in a million years went with this company but the offer was "too good to be true". Turns out that's exactly what this is...too good to be anything other than a scam. I really hope the people at Verizon corporate or somewhere are seeing these posts. I know I will not be screwed out of this rebate.

You and your lawyer better read the Verizon Customer Agreement located at the bottom of every Verizon Wireless web page before going forward with a class action.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I'm in the same boat. I was told originally 45 days, then 3-4 weeks, now 8-10 weeks, and my rebate has been in "Pending" status nearly the entire time. I think they just lure people in with these offers, string them along, and hope they give up so they don't have to pay. Only one time in my life have I had a wireless carrier honor their mail-in/online rebate offer, and that was Sprint. I got my check 3 weeks to the day after I submitted my rebate. Makes me want to switch back to them, or anyone at this point. I'm also having issues with service in places I used to have service with no issues, and no one at VZW will take ownership and fix it -- they blame my house or my handset. I feel your frustration and can easily sympathize.

My experience is almost identical to Tomski919's. I purchased two Samsung Galaxy S7s on 5/27/16 (offer ended on 5/31/16) and added a new line as required. I submitted my rebate request on 6/13/16 and I was careful to provide every document that was requested. I received my first invalid notice on 6/14/16 and I re-submitted the same documentation via the provided email address. A week later it was still invalid. I called 844-408-8470 and spoke to a service rep who verified that all the required info had been submitted and my rebate went to pending (as expected). On 7/15/16 I received an email notice that my rebate was again invalid because: "The purchase information (Order location, Order ID, Device ID and wireless number) submitted could not be validated." I purchased them directly from Verizon! How could they not validate the purchase? I called 844-408-8470 again and the service rep told me that they could see nothing wrong with my submittal. They "escalated" it to management review and told me to wait another 30 days. This has the been the most frustrating rebate I have ever dealt with and I will never fall for this again with Verizon. I have been happy with their service up until now but this rebate fiasco makes me want to switch to another carrier when my contract runs out!

I was told by the person at the verizon store that i would get my rebate in 6 to 8 weeks after i spent the 1600 dollars for the two phones and nothing about submitting any kind of documents or rebate information myself. On day 42 (12 days after the rebate woud have had to be submitted) i recieved this information. I did end up getting my 792 dollar rebate but spent at least 8 to 10 hours on the phone with costomer service and the rebate center through it all definitely seems like a scam after the verizon employee basically said my rebate will be at my house in 6 to 8 weeks. But i will stay on the phone and fight for $792 dollars, so ended up taking about 3 months to get my rebate complete pain in the ass.

So you ended up getting the $792 rebate?? Please advise!! Im in same boat with a post 30 day from purchase rebate submission. Grrr... thanks for any advice on how you finally got the rebate approved. Ive spent over 10 hours with customer service and rebate center and have only been able to get a $75 credit to my account and told to go try to sell 1 of the phones at a fraction of what I paid! (minus of course taxes, accessories and $20/month additonal line access fee. Uggg...) thank you for any tips or advice you can provide!

I called 800-922-0204 as recommended and Verizon Support connected me with Verizon Rebate Center ... the same people at the root of this problem. As you might guess I am no better off than I was before Verizon Support "helped."

I have had exact same issue. Yesterday I contacted an attorney and they have already contacted Verizon. Verizon's arbitration contacted me today to settle. They said I can turn in my phones and cancel verizon account. I thought about it, but now I see all these others being scammed also. This is horrible these big comapnies can get away with this!

This has me extremely concerned, OSUBUCK0922. I have sent a Private Message here on the forums. Please reply through https://community.verizonwireless.com/inbox so I may be able to look into what's happened with your rebate request.

I think the only reason i got my rebate is i talked to the right costomer service agent at the right time this one person did it all. Unfortunatelly i believe i just got lucky. Definetely no real strategy i had going in escalation and stuff, but dont give up that is what they are expecting and what most people are doing...... get that 800 bucks from them!

But you physically now have the rebate in hand?? Thats amazing. If its not
going to mess your chances of getting the rebate sent would you be able to
share any other information that could help me have another rep look up
your account to see how they coded the rebate? I know this is a huge
stretch but possibly your verizon phone number?? Do you happen to recall if
you were speaking with verizon customer service or someone at the rebate
center? Or do you have the number you called?
Sorry but im super upset about this and just want the $792 so i can go on
with my life. Thanks for any additional support you can provide.

I dont know how this person did it but my rebate was submitted after the 30 day period... actually day 43 i believe, and yes the rebate is in hand and spent, it was a rep from the verizon rebate center and i dont know his name. He said, "this is a one time thing". Im sorry. I believe it was pure luck but i bought the phones on like 4/16 and got the rebate like 2 or three weeks ago from today 7/16

Im happy for you and hope i can catch a break as well....hope this doesnt
come off wrong. But did you just call and speak to the lucky rep or ask to
be transferred to to a Manager or superior at the rebate center? Wondering
if the rep that ultimately got you the rebate sounded like they were from
out of the country with a thick accent?

It alarms me to read the hassle that you have gone through in attempting to obtain your rebates. I am here to help. I just want to gather a few more pieces of information. Do you happen to have the tracking numbers for your rebate? If so, what is the status on the rebate center (http://bit.ly/2a6mrlC)?

I REALLY appreciate the help Amber...ive heard from others that submitted
the rebate submission after 30 days but fell within purchase date of thr
BOGO promotion like in my case that they were "lucky" to get the right rep
that could actually just process the invalid claim on the spot and after 3
months of waiting, escalating and spending countless hours with customer
service reps (just like what ive been dealing with) they did receive
afterall receive their $792 rebate in the mail only 3 days after rep
finally approved. So i know exceptions can be made and again i appreciate
anything you can do to get this rebate processed and approved!
Here is my tracking #: [removed]
Let me know if there are any other questions after reviewing my account.
Thanks again and have a great day!
