Since the problem started after the update, it is possible that a glitch in the system caused it. Let's simulate a battery pull, or forced reboot. The memory of the phone will be refreshed and all applications running in the background will be closed. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power Keys at the same time for 7 to 10 seconds and wait until your phone boots up. After doing so, connect it to the charger and observe if it is already charging normally.
