We certainly want you to be able to use your new phone the way that you need to, Natedowg2000. I'm so sorry that you are having trouble with the GPS on the device. You've provided some really helpful information in stating that it happens with multiple apps. It certainly sounds like more of a software type issue with the phone. For this type of thing, I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the phone/software so in this case that would be Samsung.
