Sent back in regular return box

I got my s7 edge Monday and was told to send back my note 7 in the regular return box cause it had a label in it? After making sure this was okay by asking customer service not knowing anything about the special box supposedly coming to me. So I sent it back to the return center, I better get my credit I'm due cause this is what customer service told me to do even though I questioned it.
