Hello,
I am looking for some help. I have had a Samsung Note 8 for a couple of years now ( I absolutely love). My screen is potentially starting to have some issues so I am considering upgrading. I've been a Samsung user for about 10 years (Galaxy S, Galaxy S5, Note8) and have loved each phone that I've had. I was comparing the Note 20 Ultra Plus and the S21 Ultra Plus and found the reviews to be terrifying. Is this people just complaining? or are these phones not good? Should I upgrade or wait? and which phone should I go with?
Thanks in advance for all help!

Can't say about those but I was a long time LG user. Needed a new phone over the summer and was not thrilled with the higher end LG's. Ended up with the samsung note 10 plus 4g with 256gb of storage as I was not interested in 5g at the time. Absolutely love it and no issues. Needed to replace my husbands LG last week and when I saw best buy had the note 10 plus on sale again ran over and got him one and he loves it. I am much more a phone person than him and considered giving him my 10 plus and getting me the 20 plus Ultra but really don't care about 5g and the 10 plus was on a good sale. One thing I like about best buy is you can pay cash and get the sale price and no payments on your bill so that's whst I do. When I researched the note 10 plus there were certain things people complained about too and I was wondering if they were just being picky so I just went for it and don't regret it. I found that a lot of youtube reviewers didn't actually buy the phone either. I would like to see more reviews from the average user that had to actually pay for the phone and uses it daily.

Thank you for the reply. I haven't even considered the Note 10s. I just assumed that if I upgrade to get the newest phone. I'll look into them and see how they stack up (price / value). Thanks for the reply, I'm obviously conflicted.

I was so very conflicted too. At the time I was considering the s20 ultra I think was the latest because of the camera. Whole different story when I got to hold it in my hands. I like a large screen but that was way too big for my tiny hands and then add a case. Also seeing all the complaints here about 5g issues figure I would stick to 4g even though the 10 plus comes in 5g. Also the 10 plus had more storage for my apps.

It's always exciting to be looking at a new phone, and it's great to know that you've been enjoying the Samsung Galaxy series. As for the differences between a Note 20 and Galaxy S21, you can always compare the phones on our website to see the camera, battery, and screen differences, but how often do you use the stylus with your current phone? If you use it often, then the Note series would be ideal, since they come with the S Pen that you've become so familiar with. If you do not use it much, then the Galaxy S series would be better. It's always smart to check our reviews, especially if the item you want has been out for a while, but it's important to choose what is best for you. We do have a 14-day return/exchange window on all purchases, so if you chose a Note 20 model and found out that it's not for you after a few days, then exchanging it for an S21 (or whichever other device you are considering) would be fine. Just be aware that there is a $50.00 return fee for any devices when returned or exchanged.
