I had this same problem. Come to find out it was an oopsy by me, I failed to notice the new icon on the car dock screen what comes up when you plug it in, that looks like a mic. I would just back arrow back to my own home screen and expected it to work. Once I clicked on that icon at the bottom next to the exit button, a message popped up and told me to connect the cable to the radio, and viola, it worked fine.
There are other things that people will tell you to do, make sure that under USB SETTINGS , it is set to mass storage, and make sure under APPLICATIONS | DEVELOPMENT | USB debugging and mock locations are off.
