Stopping VCast Media Manager

Hi All

Does anyone have a solution for stopping the VCast Media Manager (or window saying software is available)  from popping up when the phone is plugged into USB? I have found that if I go into settings for Autoplay for software and games on Windows 7 and I set it to take no action, this stops the annoying popup from Verizon but this affects the entire computer. In the meantime I just set it to ask me every time, an OK solution.

I have heard of internal solutions for other Droid phones using ## programming, but that does not seem to work on my Fascinate.

BTW, I had uninstalled the VCast Media Manager through Windows (after deciding I didn't like it) but I would get an error message from Windows "Cannot find the program etc."

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
