Their customers re getting text messages stating their Note 8 will ship soon.

Is VZW planning on shipping early?

There are alot of rumors around that. I've heard and read Tmobile was shipping on 9/5, but then I read today that they are shipping on 9/13. The website doesn't even have a date and the reps can't give anymore info either. I have a feeling we'll all get them around the same time!

I've actually seen the text with my own eyes. A coworker received it. The text states "soon", which is open to interpretation, but I don't think two weeks qualifies as "soon".

My credit card was also charged this morning and Fed Ex called to confirm my suite number for my office.  I checked online and I don't have a tracking # and my order says it is still going to ship on 9/14.  I pre-ordered the minute we were allowed (11:01PM) too on VZW.com.  We shall see

I got an email with tracking today and after checking tracking it is showing movement, with expected delivery Tuesday 9/5, so... fingers crossed.
