T-Mobile users not receiving my text messages
Problem started 1 Week ago. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 phone. Text messages sent to any T-Mobile customer are not received by them. I can send them a text message and they will receive it. They can all send me texts without issue. Does anyone have a suggestion for fixing my problem?
Thank you

We definitely don't want you to have any problems with other users not getting your text messages and we're going to help. Does this happen with all T-Mobile users? Does it matter if it's an Android or iPhone user? Are you using RCS?

Don't know if this is on Verizon, or with T-Mobile, but someone's SMSC is not routing correctly. It's been reported before, but I haven't seen this in a while.
BTW you should unmark your post as a solution, because you haven't gotten a resolution as of yet. If you've marked a post as a solution the thread will likely get closed.

I also have this problem where people in the group messages with AT&T are not able to see my message regardless if they have iPhone or Android. This started mid-March because prior to this in my 20 person mixed group chat everyone saw the message. Now even in a 3 person group chat my message is not being seen. HELP!

I am happy to help you with troubleshooting your text issues. Before this started happening, were there any changes made to your device? Updates, new apps, plan changes etc?

It looks like it began to happen on March 14th, because the day before in my group message the people it’s been affecting were able to see my messages. I didn’t change anything. I tried turning on and off settings in my messages. Turning my phone on and off. And have even recently upgraded to a new iPhone after the fact. Still having the issue where they are not seeing the message from me.

Yikes. If the texting problem is also happening with AT&T customers, then the SMSC routing problem is on Verizon. There was an old thread from 1 or maybe more years ago from a T-Mobile user who attempted to get Verizon's attention about this same problem then, but they ended up having to go to the FCC before it got fixed.
@vzw_customer_support please escalate this to someone within Verizon. There is clearly something going on in the network as it is affecting outbound texts to both T-Mobile and AT&T customers.

I just started having this same problem about a week ago, Samsung Galaxy 22 ultra using the Samsung messaging app. In the group chat t mobile users with iPhones or Samsung aren't getting my texts. Spent 3 hours on the phone with Verizon yesterday with no resolution. So frustrating. I can call them, they can text me, but they don't see my texts.

Lynnieloo, keeping you connected to your friends, family, and colleagues is a must. Help is always here but may I ask, have your friends with the other provider, have they troubleshooted this issue on their end?

While it may be possible that there's a SMSC which is not communicating between the 2 carriers, this can also be because of the newer RCS texting format or other encryption technology being used by many texting apps. The Samsung Messages app stopped supporting RCS earlier this year. If you are using it, your texts are in the older SMS/MMS format. If the other people you text are on newer texting technology, then what's happening in a group text is some disconnect where the other people's texting apps can't "translate" your old-school texts into the newer encrypted format (for example, if you are trying to text 10 others in a group together, that's 10 potential "translations" which have to go to as many as 10 different apps). The reason why the others can text you is because on their end, their app realizes you are on the older tech and decodes it just for you, but that can still mess things up for the other people because sometimes that causes group messages to get sent as individual chains instead.
Google Messages uses RCS by default, so I'd try that and see if that helps with the group texting problems.
