I've seen the question asked a lot but haven't seen an answer. When I send from my Samsung S10e sometimes the message keeps showing as "Sending", even though I know it's been delivered AND the real problem is I can't receive ANY Texts while it's stuck in this cycle. I then have to clear all data from the app and turn my phone on and off. It then sometimes works. It is very frustrating as it now happens multiple times a day.
This is NOT an app problem. I have tried on multiple apps (Currently Verizon Message+) and the same thing happens. It has been happening for a couple weeks now. Perhaps after the latest Samsung operating system update...not sure of the timing. I have uninstalled, force stopped, cleared data, turned on and off phone. I've read that this is specific to Samsung phones on Verizon but can't be sure.
Note that it's the same if i am on wifi or data. It just says "sending" and everything else stops working until it sends (up to an hour) or I re-boot the phone.
If there is anyone who could figure this out I would be forever indebted. I like my Samsung more than I like Verizon so if changing carriers is a sure fire fix, I'll do that.

I noticed it a few days ago after returning from a 5 day trip from the Bahamas. May have been longer than that but less than 2 weeks for sure.

I know the importance of making sure the reliable service comes back! To confirm was the cache cleared in both the Message+ and native Messages apps? Are all of the apps up to date as seen in the Play Store? Is this affecting MMS picture and group messages as well or only text with no media?

Cleared all Cache's multiple times. Apps are updated (uninstalled and re-installed Verizon App). I don't know what's causing it to hang up but once it's hung up I stop receiving ALL texts weather MMS, pictures, or group.
