Time Zone changing at random

For the last week or so our phones have started changing from Eastern Timezone to Central at random.  It is all different brands across the Verizon network.

We have all turned the automatic update off, but travel the hour to central timezone sometimes and want the automatic time zone to work as it should.  That is going on with Verizon?  It is not jsut my family phones, but co workers and other friends have the same problem.

Personally, my phone is my watch, too. I know it's important to have the right time, and I regret any inconvenience to you. I'm eager to help. Tell me, when did you notice this began? What happens if you turn the Automatic setting back on? Please provide some additional details, thanks very much.
