When I go to add an event to my calendar it lets me type my info, etc and when I hit save.....a pop up says "saved" but when I go back to the calendar the event is not there. HELP!!! I rely on my calendar daily.....I can't be without it!!
Calender app could be corrupted. I would either d/l a free calender app from the market or do a factory reset, either one should solve your problem.

Just to consider the obvious, when you add the event, which calendar are you adding it to? The next thing to check is in the calendar, hit the menu button, click on Calendars, and make sure there is a check mark next to the calendar that you entered the event on.
The other thing I have seen is the exact happening. I had to go to SETTINGS | APPLICATION | MANAGE APPLICATIONS | Click on the ALL tab, find the CALENDAR STORAGE and click on CLEAR DATA. This will clear the temporary storage data for the calendar, and the next time it sync's, it will add all the info back.
