Unable to update MyVerizon app on Galaxy Note 9

I have been trying to update MyVerizon app the last couple of weeks on my Galaxy Note 9. Every time I try to update in the play store it says, "Something went wrong, try again". I am able to download other apps from the play store without any issues or problems and my other apps update just fine as well. Any insight on how to get this issue resolved?

Are you able to verify that your device software is up to date? https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-218940/ Has the phone been restarted since you attempted the update?

Yes. My software is up to date and I have tried restarting phone and booting in safe mode to try and update and it hasn't worked.
