The Fascinate is the i500.  The original Galaxy S (I9000) is basically the parent phone to all of the us versions and will be getting the update to Gingerbread but that doesn't really help Fascinate owners.

I Honestly dont really care about battery life 1/3 of the fascinates battery is still better than the incredibles so I just say release the freakin update already

Verizon needs to wake up.


 

  I wouldn't be so quick to point the fingers at Verizon, if you follow Samsung on Twitter, alot of people are asking about the 2.2 update for the Fascinate, and the response is always, "We have no ETA on when it will be released, but when we know, we will tweet it".

 

  If Verizon was holding it up, don't you think that Samsung would have everyone question the carrier? Plus, the Galaxy S getting these updates are the non-US markets....
