Upgrading a Device

Last year I traded in a S22 Ultra that I had previously purchased from Samsung that was fully paid for for a S23 ultra.  The Account Representative, Rose, told me they would give $1,000 for my phone, I then paid the difference of the $1,000 and the price of the S23ultra in full.  Rose told me I could upgrade at anytime without any extra fees since my device was paid for.  I tried to upgrade again and Verizon wants me to pay $694.25 to pay off my S23 ultra so I can upgrade my device.  So more or less they took my fully paid for S22 ultra and they are making me pay for it again.  Their logic makes no sense to me except for the fact that they (for a lack of better words) stole money from me.

NEVER EVER purchase a phone through Verizon.  If you want an honest deal  purchase all of phone through Samsung.  They do not make you pay for a device that you have already paid for.  Unlike Verizon who makes you pay them to take your device.

waiting___, we understand how important it is for you to have all of the correct information when making a device purchase, espcially when there are valuable promotions that are involved. We always want to provide all of the details and we are concerned to ready about your experience. When a promotion is applied for a device purchase, that promotion applies over the course of the 36 month device payment plan to offset any remaining cost associated with the device. From what you have shared, the remaining amount is the amount of on the device that is being absorbed by the promotion monthly.

That is not what I was told by your representative, I had asked that question 3 different times to make sure I wouldn't run into this problem and she (Rose) verified that it wasn't the 36 month payments and I could upgrade without paying anything else in 1 year.   This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with Verizon, I can't believe I trusted Verizon not to do this to me again.  I'll never purchase a phone through Verizon ever again, Samsung knows how to treat their customers and they never do this so I'll ALWAY buy from Samsung and NEVER buy from you!
