Using my phone as hotspot for my Wifi only Ipad2

I just purchased an Ipad 2 wifi only and im afraid to use my samsung fascinate hotspot..how much will they  charge me if i use it?

I believe:

Tethering costs $20 for 2GB. Over that, is $1.99/MB.

It is $20 for 2 GB and then $20 per GB overage.

Hello,

Just bought an HTC thunderbolt. Want to get an IPAD2  just wifi and use the Thunderbold as a hotspot, as the data rates going thru the Tbolt as a hotspot are slightly better than getting data to a 3G IPAD2 . Plus I don't have to pay the extra $ for the 3G-capable IPAD2.

Just FYI I don't live in a maket with 4G deployed, so no comments regarding pls.

You think that it would work, but will it?
