VZ media app and how to unsync

Hello

I have a Samsung Ae10 phone

When I put a photo into my VZ Media and then move it to my SD card.. then go delete the photo from the VZ media on phone drive it also deletes the photo on my SD drive!!

Why?

Any help is appreciated

Is something synced?

How do I unsync them

We're here to help with your question regarding your photos. Moving your pictures from your phone to the SD card does not create a copy. The picture is being moved from one storage to another. The media app shows all files on the phone in all storage. A cloud service like Verizon cloud can help with this as you can upload the picture to the cloud and then you can clear it from your device.  ~Peter

Don't have a solid answer as to why that's happening...it sounds like the media app is on both your phone's main storage and the SD card using the same named folder in both spots, so deleting something from one place causes it to delete out of the other too.

The S10 series reached "end of life" status last year and newer phones don't have SD card slots built in anymore as cloud storage services are the thing now, so your best bet for keeping important photos, etc. are to move them off your phone to a cloud service, or to an external hard drive or PC.
