VZ software upgrade assistant

I keep getting a message to upgrade the software but when I select upgrade now, I get a message that says "C:\users\owner\appdata\local\temp\live - live update.  missing "WINUA_2.13.091.msi" file. At that point the upgrade stops and I have to close. I have tried to uninstall the software program from computer and reinstall by connecting the phone, but I get the same 'missing file WINUA_2.13.091ms" and I cannot uninstall software. Has been going on for at least 6-8 weeks.

Fluke08, 6-8 weeks is way to long to be dealing with that software upgrade error! Thank you for the details on your error message. It's really going to help solve the mystery of what is going on. What device do you have?

It's a Samsung Galaxy S3, just did the android 4.3 update.

Nice phone! Do you happen to have any friends or family members with the same phone? I've found often times simply swapping the SIM cards between the phones, doing the update, and then swapping the SIM cards back fixes the issue. If that's not an option any corporate Verizon Wireless store can provide you with a free SIM card for your phone. Keep me posted and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Don't have anyone to switch SIM card with. By corporate store, do you mean

a Verizon retail store and how do I get them to change out SIM card just on

my say so?

By corporate store he means an actual Verizon retail store, not to be confused with an authorized reseller, Authorized reseller or words to that effect will be in their signage.
