This error message has been going on for about a month every time I boot up my Win 7 Dell PC. The only discussion I can find about this is under the Galaxy Note section of these blogs. Is anyone else with an S3 having this problem?

I was told by a great Samsung to use their Kies 3 program for the Note 3 and other Samsung smartphones running android 4.3. The link they gave me to download the program is as follows:
www.samsung/us/kies/#downloadWindows
Be sure to select the Kies 3 program.
Downloads are available for both PC and Mac. It worked great for me! I then uninstalled the Verizon software so that I didn't keep getting the error on startup.
Good Luck

We appreciate that information, jtlauter.
We want to make sure we figure this out. Can you provide some more details? Is the phone plugged into the computer when you get this message?

Yes, same problem with Windows 7 Pro for my S4.
Phone is not connected at the time.
Error occurs at system boot up or if the program is launched.

Thanks for the information slw28079. Have you also attempted to uninstall the program from your computer? IF you had some trouble uninstalling the program, what error do you receive?

Same issue here with my Samsung Galaxy S3. After a recent update to the Android OS, I could no longer connect my phone to my PC (Lenovo T510 running Windows7/64). Another forum suggested updating the Samsung driver, so I downloaded and installed SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.45.0 from the Samsung site (I uninstalled the prior version first). I rebooted my PC and got the same error as the other users here.
Every time I reboot, I get the same message. If I try to run the program from the Windows Start menu, the same error appears. I've tried several Windows compatibility modes, running as Administrator, etc., but they all throw the same error. Happens whether I have my phone connected or not. Very frustrating, because transferring files using the Kies software or bluetooth is comparatively slow.
I've pasted the problem details from the error message below:
