Verizon Software Upgrade assistant

I see that Verizon has released the OneUI 7 update for the Samsung S24 FE.  I installed the Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant on my laptop.  However when I open the assistant and connect my phone, the "Next" button is still greyed out.  I'm not sure why the assistant isn't connecting to my phone.

Is the update simply not installing on your phone directly?  I'm curious as to why you are running the upgrade via your laptop to the phone.

Yes, when I go to Software Update in settings, it says it's up to date.
