I was sold a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra brand new a couple year ago. As of recently my daughter drove off with my phone on the car. Of course it cracked the entire screen. I did not have the insurance so I called any way and asked what were my options? I was told to find a store that could replace the screen. I did. The gentleman took my cracked screen off and said "This is a Nice Refurbished phone!" I told him NO you are incorrrect. That is a new phone! He said No it isn't and proceeded to show the writing that is used on the inside of the phone to suggest it is refurbished. He told me he has seen this happen time and time again and that if you never open the screen, you would not know.
Basically I signed a contract for a new phone and was sold a refurbished phone. This means a couple of things: I have already paid for this phone and still paying, The contract that I entered into is Null and Void now, and lastly, they should easily replace my phone......all I need to do is just show them what was found. Surely they will see this and do their due diligence and try to best to help right? Nope. I was told it was the stores fault and sent to call corporate and they told me to go to a corporate store only to be told that no one at the store can help me because they have never seen anything like this. I showed them others by the forum and they all said: Good Luck with that! It feels like I am at their mercy and no one is going to help. I have learned one thing as I get older. Before I get very upset, just ask for help. I am asking Verizon or anyone to help me to get another phone because the one that I have, the refurbished one, the screen is not working anymore. I am pleading for assistance....Thank you
