Why has Verizon discontinued "anonymous call rejection"?
It was part of the Verizon "Smart Family Plan", which is also gone.
Any reason for this?

I think this used to be a feature in older Android versions, but is now gone. If you don't want to block all unknown callers using your phone app (open the phone app > go to the 3 dots > Settings > Block Numbers > toggle on "Block calls from unknown numbers"), you'd have to try a 3rd party app.
For iPhone, you can silence unknown callers and they will go to voicemail.

Our Verizon Family app is still available! We can take a look at the parental controls and restrictions for any unwanted calls with you. We are sending over a private note to get additional details together.

The "Verizon Family app" DOES NOT HAVE the "anonymous call rejection" feature.
Try again.
