I unknowingly bought a used note 10 that is Verizon locked from FB market place. Previous owners will not give me their phone number which is what Verizon needs from me to look into unlocking it for me. (Previous owners have blocked me on FB due to trying to get this resolved)

#I checked the IMEI number to see if it's been reported stolen and there's nothing fraudulent connected to it.
#2 Verizon says the IMEI number is not in their records.
I need to use it with visible service. Any advice I'm confused on why there is nothing I can do but knock down the door of previous owners and more than likely go to jail. But I'm broke and need a working phone.
