Whenever my group chat is remotely active, it gets locked up and I will sit there not being able to send it receive any texts in *just the group chat* for ages. This has only been getting worse for years over different phones.
I have tried all your troubleshooting tips of restarting, deleting caches, resetting networks, etc. I will not private message you. I have an S22 Ultra right now but it has nothing to do with my model.

I just want to clarify, since a customer support agent replied to this thread from a year ago. That I will not be sending you a private note, and to please read my message before suggesting asking me to do such when I make a direct point of saying that I will not. It shows that you are not reading our messages.

This is getting ridiculous and Verizon is no help. What happens in a family emergency when you can't connect in real time texts because Verizon decides to throttle your data?!
I am sick of this and it does t matter if you use Samsung or Google messages. They still throttle when chats get active and I am sick of it.
Verizon help consists of asking baseless account questions with "advice" like restart phone or clear chance.

I hear your frustration Vintagejmr. You do need to connect with friends, family and especially in the case of emergency. Let's look closer at your text and messages. When did this all begin? What messaging app are you currently using?

This has all began with verizon for *years*, probably almost a decade. I just switched to WhatsApp because Verizon can't be bothered to do anything right. Just look at this. I made this message MORE THAN A YEAR AGO and it was a years-long issue prior to that. You - as customer support - have no way to change what the issue is. It is almost certainly verizon throttling messages in some for of "spam control" but it is absolutely useless.
