Where is Android 4.4 KitKat for the Verizon Galaxy Note 3?!?

Where is it, Verizon?!?!? I called a week ago and tech support tried to tell me it hasn't even been released by Samsung. I know better. Samsung's site shows the releases for the KitKat update and the affected Galaxy Note 3 models. Sprint, AT&T and now T-Mobile have it. Why is "The nation's most reliable network" the last to get it?!?!? How is it that a flagship phone form Samsung doesn't have it yet? KitKat was released in October of 2013!! Samsung's own page shows the update status and the networks its been rolled out to. If we are willing to pay the most for our service, shouldn't we get the best overall service for our phones?

Updates are exciting Jmuscol1. I know how frustrating it can be to wait. Unfortunatley, we do not have any information regarding the release date. However, please feel free to register for alerts on new products and services by clicking, http://bit.ly/dDumph

Babygirl is it build vrucnc2, with a kernel build date of March 13th? That's the leaked build everyone has. It'd be great if the pic of 4.4.2 you saw had a different build and build date though. Can you post that screenshot you saw?

No sir...this one has a build date of April 28 2014. I've been in the android central forums all morning. I just can't try it out myself...I'm at work.

Baby girl, you are very right! Thanks for the heads up! Build vrucnc4. Built April 28th. There was a guy on here who said he kept telling himself he thought it'd come out on the 12th of this month, technically you were right lol just via kies and the VZW software upgrade assistant.

You are very welcome. Just need one favor. If you update come back and let me know what you think. Don't get off work till 2.

Babygirl, so I've been playing around with it now for about 45 mins and it's smooth! No bugs or glitches seen yet. I'm getting stronger wifi signals further away from my router now then on the previous firmware. The Web pages in theater stock browser seem to load a bit quicker without the stuttering I would experience from time to time. Nothing weird happening here. When you get off at 2, make sure you get this! It'll be worth it.

Babygirl, it is good! 🙂 I know too, some were worried about the battery, it works just as well for me as the previous software, so it looks like all is well! Just sucks we had to wait so long to get it!

I was able to finish downloading it at work but wasn't able to install because i don't have administrative privileges on my work computer, i made a copy of the file just incase something happened and right when i got home found out they pulled it, so i used odin to upgrade with the official copy i backed up and it worked fine keeping my stuff intact.  Wondering if they found a bug or something which might be why they pulled it.

Mine running well so far. hard to tell the difference between this version and 4.3. only issue I've had so far is the Visual Voice Mail app tells me that basic visual voice mail the app throws a reminder in the notification area after every reboot. Annoying but not horrible. but I could tell immediately that it was running faster and smoother.

Any way I can get the copy from you? I was to late to get it before they pulled it.

KitKat is now available OTA. If you don't see the popup display showing up, you can go to your settings and press software update and it should be there.

I wish that they would update the Galaxy Note 10.1 2012 Edition. Smiley Happy
