Why does my wi-fi continually drop(without me knowing)..resulting in overcharge for data..I have a Galaxy S5
Weechsdock, your device should always stay connected to the wifi. It's important that we get this fixed. When did you first notice that the wifi wasn't staying connected? Any recent software updates? If so, what's your current software version?

Try going to backup and reset then go down to the reset network settings. You will have to put your wifi passwords back in but it did work on my s5 when it kept dropping the wifi. I would also turn the mobile data off when you are at home or work or where ever you use wifi.
