Why can't I swipe on my Galaxy S5?

Weird, phone won't respond to swipe unless I sleep and unsleep,rapidly for a minute or 2,have rebooted, shut down and restarted, hard boot, all the same, anyone else ever have this issue? Ready to return the phone, had a similar issue 2 months ago, and they sent me a new phone,
