I had forgotten my password to login to my Galaxy S8+. Running out of attempts i google unlock fixes for my device. I saw that Samsung has software called find my mobile. Is find my mobile by Samsung a feature you turn off or do I need to locate it in a different area from where Samsung says it should be?
The Find My Mobile app is a feature which would tell you the location of your phone if you've misplaced it, assuming you have location enabled on the phone. It can be disabled if you don't want to use it. I'm not sure if the S8 supports Find My Mobile because that's a newer feature and the S8 stopped getting updates in 2021.
