We want to make sure your identification is accurate. Please go here: https://www.verizon.com/support/share-name-id-faqs to update your Caller ID name. Can you tell us more about the no service on inbound calls? Do you notice services out on your end?

Your post is tagged with the Galaxy Note Edge, which I suspect has an old version of Android and the older UI interface (something earlier than Android 14 and not One UI 6.1). Check your settings to make sure "Hide number" isn't enabled in your outgoing calls. If you have hidden your number, then the person on the other end can't see who's calling on their Caller ID. I don't have that feature on my Samsung anymore because it got taken away with the most recent software updates.
As for people getting a "number not in service" message, is your signal strength often poor (1 bar, or even going into SOS sometimes)? If cellular reception is bad, calls may fail to come in, and the person at the other end will get an error message because the network can't find your phone. The other thing which could be causing the problem is simply that your phone is obsolete since the Note series has been discontinued by Samsung. Obsolete devices can have trouble with current wireless technology, as carriers regularly tweak/update networks, so older devices become unsupported and don't work well.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
