I wanted to pass this information on just incase it helps anyone. You may already know that this phone has a bug which causes the screen to dim and lock the phone after 15 seconds while on a bluetooth call (even if your screen timeout is set for 30 minutes). To work around this bug and prevent the phone from locking your screen after 15 seconds you can go into Settings-->Applications-->Development and then enable the "Stay awake" option. The only caveat is that the phone has to be plugged in and charging for this workaround to work. While this option is enabled you can still click the lock button to lock the phone and turn off the screen.
