I went to a store (again!) today and had another look (comparison) between DInc, DX, and Fascinate. VZW rep at the store told me that in order for Yahoo POP email to work on Fascinate, I should have a premium (paid) Yahoo account. Is that true?
May anyone who already have Fascinate and regular (not-premium) Yahoo account confirm if your email works as is or not?

Thank you everyone for your input. But that issue is another nail into coffin of Fascinate (at least for me) as regular Yahoo on DX works just fine without need of downloading anything or paying extra to Yahoo.

Yes, you have to upgrade to get a pop from yahoo.
There is a free official yahoo app for email only.
This app does not syn calendar or contacts. To do so, export, then import them both to gmail is free.
Ycontact is a .99 that will push only contacts your phone, only for contacts.
Yahoo app I use everyday, its lacking somewhat, but its functional, it must be fairly new from what I understand.
Some attachments don't work right and email is a bit clunky.

You can set up your regular yahoo mail account. Go to the Android Market and download the Yahoo Mail Android App. It is the first one on the list. It works pretty good.
I hope this helps you. Good Luck

Thank you! I have been having issues with email and still can't seem to send an email from the Yahoo app but at least I can see it. But this really irritates me. I should be able to send an email right?
