Took about the same time here. Works fine. Faster, lots of nice little fixes and improvements. Only had the phone since March 4th so I had not yet gotten totally insane waiting for 2.2. Great phone so far.

I agree on the great update. No real problems, just noticed that one app functions differently now that I wish hadn't changed.

The update went flawlessly on my Fascinate. The phone seems to be faster but only marginally, it's occasionally noticable but not enough to really be an improvement. I understand a new compiler has been included so that may be the source of the improved speed.
I have clearly gained some battery life, at least half a day considering my normal phone useage. the DL09 update at the first of the year hosed my battery life (a 50% drop) so the improvement was very welcome.
All in all Froyo has been good.

I can agree also, the update went very smooth, and the experience since has been good. No real issues other than the car dock problem I am having, but as far as the phone, it has been fine. I did not do a factory reset yet, and I am not sure if I am going to or not, I will probably wait to see if I have any issues, and then do it. The apps work good, no real issues, battery life is about the same, maybe a little better. the GPS locks pretty quick now, so that is an improvement. It took about 10-15 minutes to download, and about 7 minutes to install.

My phone worked great before Froyo and works great now after Froyo.
I haven't really noticed much difference although Day 1 and Day 2 the battery seemed to deplete faster (but not FASTER) than it had before, but today battery life seemed to be a leeeetle better than it was on Eclair...
I was pleased with the phone before. I'm still pleased with the phone.

I updated my wife's phone and my phone with no issues. Battery life seems a bit worse to me but i honestly think its because i'm using it even more then i did before. I liked the phone on eclair and i LOVE it on froyo. only thing i have noticed is that it is a bit slow at times changing back to the home screen but nothing i cant live with.
i am FINALLY satisified with this phone.

I updated my phone to 2.2. Almost everything seems fine. I now have Flash and it made some small improvements in a lot of features such as E-mail viewing is a bit nicer and web viewing is a bit better. Some background colors have changed. The phone seems to run apps a bit faster or improved in minor ways. The GPS Google Maps stuff works well as before. It did reset my phone personalization presets like my homescreen, a minor thing. One game app stopped working but I deleted and reinstalled it and it works fine. I kept all my music, contact list and data on the phone. Nothing lost. All in all I am very satisfied with the update and pleased. Thanks Verizon and Samsung, now please get to work on Gingerbread 2.3.

No problems! The update went perfectly well, and the phone is (still) working like a charm. Love it.
