i read somewhere that you can automatically forward a call from a contact directly to your voicemail so you don't have a missed call from them.  i cannot figure out how to do this.  Can someone help?

Unfortunately that option is not available on your device; however, you can search the Market Place for an application. Keep in mind that all applications are from third party developers and are download at your own risk. Here's a suggestion Contact to Voicemail.
