I have a samsung fascinate and a brand new dell inspiron laptop. I cannot get these two together via bluetooth. The laptop states the "bluetooth peripheral device driver not found."
Are there any solutions for this?
Thanks!
Sure! Try this: First, make sure you have activated Bluetooth pairing on your Fascinate. You can do this by going to your home screen, select Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth. Once Bluetooth is on, have your Fascinate scan for your computer by going to Bluetooth settings > Scan for devices. You might be able to pair them that way, instead of trying to find the phone using your computer.
Please Note, that there is NO solution.
It is a non-matching bug between Samsung and Android.
I experienced the same with my Galaxy SII and had elaborate conversation with Samsung ( being a journalist ;-))
In the end they admitted this problem existed and that here was no technical solution.
So back to your retailer and swop it for a HTC or iPhone4
