hello , can someone tell me if the STANDALONE GPS feature is free for google?  this is confusing because there are alot of icons and some have extra cost.

If you have the icon for google maps, then its free to used. I have it on my phone. I do not pay for the standalone GPS from googles.

You'll  need to download Google Maps from the market and then you'll see the icon in your app drawer.  It'll be called Maps and probably be on the last page of apps

EVERYTIME I PUT ON THE STANDALONE GPS , THE GPS ICON LIGHTS UP, DOES THAT MEAN THE SAME AS VZ NAVIGATOR?
