Keeping all of your contact photos is very important, as adding new ones can sometimes be time consuming. I'll be very happy to help with this. Are her new phone and old phone part of the same device platform (Apple, Android, etc.)? When she got her new phone, did she partake in any of the prompted device recovery options?

pics should be on the old phone.
usb cable from phone to pc, do not select "charge only" in drop-down menu.
drag/drop pics to pc/mac.
