My wife's Galaxy S5 will not power on. I tried to swap my battery with hers, but that had no affect. Ant suggestions?

Try taking the battery out and hold the power button for about 30 seconds
then put the battery back in and try it

You've taken excellent steps, JOHGUL81. It's important your wife's phone can power on normally. Does her phone recognize if a charger is connected? Is there any damage to her phone?

My wife's Samsung Galaxy S5 will not power on.
I have removed her battery and placed in mine, and mine will power on. I then placed my battery in hers, it still will not power on.
I have attempted each reset imaginable just to get it to power on - Power button, volume up/down, home key etc - none have worked. I have removed the SD card and nothing happens. I have plugged in her phone to my computer and the computer does not recognize the device is there, but it does recognize my device. I bought these phones at the same time, and there has been no damage to her phone. How can I get the phone to power on?
