problem with contacts

I have a huge number of contacts labeled "unknown" in my contact list on my Samsung J3V phone.  How can I do a global erase of those contacts, without having to go through the list and delete them one at a time?

We're more than happy to provide you with any helpful details that may assist you with deleting these Text Messages. However, deleting them manually is the only option available without completing a Factory Reset on your device. This would delete all the information on your device as well. CecileC_VZW
