s22 recently started showing all incoming calls as restricted. I disabled the call filter app and no change.

My phone s22 ultra did the same thing starting today 3/24. All text messages come through fine but every phone call is either private or restricted.

I ended up going to the Verizon Store on Saturday afternoon and they switched out my SIM card and the problem stopped. I was able to show them what was going on because my mom was with me and when she called one time it showed as a restricted call and the second time it showed as a private call. They couldn't explain why it happened all of a sudden or why others were having the same thing happen.
And this was only to the phone calls and not to text messages. The texts would assign to the correct person/phone number but the calls would not.
But so far, everything still shows correctly.

S22 Ultra here. Mine started doing same thing about noon today, 3/25. ALL incoming calls labeled as restricted. People I talk to every day. Verizon computer is no help

My issue was resolved after a lengthy chat with a Verizon representative. It was related to Verizon Call Filter app. After enabling, updating and then restarting, my caller IDs were back.

Same thing here S22 Ultra, all incoming are restricted. Verizon said they were looking into it and promised a call back and still no fix or call back. This is line I use for work and I'm on call 24 hrs a day and need to know who to call back when I miss a call. Also, call waiting doesn't work tells person calling 'user busy" and gives them busy signal if I am on the phone.

Mine started doing the same thing on 3/24/23. Went to the Verizon Store & they said they didn't have a tech person who could help me. Made me call Tech Support. They had me reset all my app permissions and several other things and nothing worked. She said she was going to disable the caller id and spam blocker and would call me back - that was yesterday & I have yet to receive a call back. Very annoying.

So since turning on my recently replaced s22 Ultra all incoming calls have been showing up either private or restricted. Below is the list of attempted fixes I have tried to no avail.
- Factory reset
- Restart
- Update software
- App permission reset
- Call filtering app force stop, factory reset, & disable.
- Call settings allow caller ID info
Noticing that this has been a big issue recently again for Samsung/Verizon users. All attempts thus far have been prior fixes for the numerous times this has been an issue in the past couple years. Has anyone recently talked to tech or found a fix themselves?

Mine started 03/24 but the morning of , I did the system update on my phone. And all incoming are restricted but outgoing calls show the contact name

Lmccullum4652, we can understand the importance of managing your device and account the best way possible. To clarify, the calls were all showing restricted after your software update? Have you done any troubleshooting steps such as resetting your network settings? Any other service issues you are experiencing with calls, texts or data?
