samsung fascinate email problems

does anyone have a prolem with emails coming back after you del. them? i del them, then empty the trash, and they come back about four hours later. its like an ex wife you get rid of them, but they are never gone for good lol

Yes. Repeatedly in the last few days, deleted emails reappear in my inbox. Is there a fix?

Hi Romero and khale8257,

Once an email is deleted, you want it gone. I completely understand your discontent. Please remove the email account from the device and re-add it. This may "reset" the email and resolve the issue.

To remove the email account, follow these steps:

Menu
Settings
Accounts & Sync
Highlight the email account and press "Remove Account"

To re-add, follow the same steps, with the exception of the last step, in which case you would choose "Add Account."
