Ok, so this is about the S10, but verizon did not have that choice here for subtopic. Only to s9? weird.
So, my question is...does the SIM card help signal strength?? i sometimes am on calls and the other person loses my audio until i walk to another room. I get between -107 and -115 db or whatever. and a 99ASU. i am on wifi mostly when this happens here at home.
Will a new sim card help that or a new phone? the tech said i should try a new SIM card. this started like late 2023. Google says the sim card may not help that so i am not sure why they are sending a new one. Will that be a waste of time. I never have issues...only this audio thing. for the other person not hearing me. Called in again and battled that menu, but have to wait for them to call back. How can i improve this signal strength. the wifi calling allow doesnt seem to help that. Switching to mobile network doesnt help. This is intermittent but annoying.
Not sure why verizon in their recorded message tells me to call back on another line. who has landlines anymore? i guess they mean from another cell number too.

gmopro1, We are here to assist with your signal and device concerns. To better assist, please tell us more. Does your device have the most up to date software? Is this the original sim card for the device? Are you experiencing any other device or service issues? Also, the recommendation for having you to contact us on another device is because we are limited to the troubleshooting steps that can be completed when talking with you on the device that is having issues. Some troubleshooting steps would cause a call with us to disconnect.
