when will note 3 get a patch for stagefright exploit or are we going to be ignored? Also there seems to be an issue with cellular speed any clue when these will be fixed?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
The Stagefright patch for the Note 3 was released on August 20th. See this thread:
I agree, where is it?
Ask Samsung for the status of the Stagefright bug.

I think it has to come through the wireless carrier...
It might be delivered through the carrier, but Samsung has to finish the update first and then get it certified and approved before it can be distributed.

ATT released theirs (see update for Note 3) four days ago.
Verizon Wireless has a more in depth testing and certification process then AT&T.

I did and they passed the Buck to Verizon.
They (Samsung) will pass the buck…and THEN we will be ignored. Much in the same manner as the situation in which Lollipop destroyed the signal strength. I was just involved in a chat with Samsung for over an hour where scripted steps led to no resolution. Just hand over your monthly payment on time and deal with it. Its going to happen to older devices every time "The Next Big Thing" is released.
Geez, it's almost Halloween for crying out loud. The "StageFright Detector" app (Zimperium) still says my Galaxy Note 3 has 2 out of 8 vulnerabilities. This disgusts me.
