does any know how I can see the location of where the text was sent

You'll see the numbers that were texted to and from, and if there is a location it will be from the originating phone (but that may only apply to calls ... I'm not sure). You won't see the location of the receiving phone unless they text back - but again, I'm not sure that info is available for text messages. And if the texts are sent over wifi, with an app like iMessage, you won't see any location data.
