Since I switched phones, I can't text my boss, but she can text me. This is a big problem. How do I fix this?
- I switched from an iPhone 4s to a Samsung Galaxy Note II
- She uses an iPhone 6 on AT&T
- When I text her, I instantly get a "Failed" message
- I have tried the usual fixes: deleted her info and texted her using her number, etc
Thanks,
Gina

The resolution was:
1. I deleted my boss from my phone contacts.
2. I deleted all text messages between us from my phone.
3. My boss deleted me from her phone contacts.
4. My boss deleted all text messages between us from her phone.
I had previously tried #1 and #2 and that did not fix the problem.

Hello GinaG9. My apologies for the trouble you're having with getting your text messages sent. Let's get down to business and clarify a few things please. Are you able to send messages to all other parties except your boss? Please review this link: http://spr.ly/6581BGrHB for how to disable iMessage and then test sending a message to your boss. Keep us posted. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the response @KristieQ_VZW
1) Are you able to send messages to all other parties except your boss? Yes
2) disable iMessage and then test sending a message to your boss.
a) I disabled iMessage when I first purchased my iPhone many years ago.
b) I just charged my old iPhone and checked it--iMessage is still disabled.
c) I tried to deregister from iMessage using the website anyway, and got this message "Your phone number is not registered with iMessage."
Do you have any other suggestions?

GinaG9,
Thanks for being proactive and following these steps in attempt to deregisered your iMessages. Do you have any other Apple Products with your iCloud regristered to it?

Yes, an iPad, but I have never used iMessage on the iPad, and my boss is not listed in the Contacts on my iPad.
