Change phone number used for Messege+

Hi all,.

I have two phones/number on my verizon account, one is a good old Blackberry Flip (I still like it..) which I use primarily for phone calls, quick email replies etc. and the other one is the newest Samsung Galaxy Note5 which I use for apps, email, WhatsApp, web, navigation, business apps etc., the phone number on the Blackberry Flip is the only one known to my friends & contacts but as you may assume to texting from the flip is not as pleasant as the note 5 so my question is if there's a way I can change the phone number used within the message+ app to the number of the flip - or for that matter - any other verizon wireless number, so that the message+ app receives sms messages from the flip phone and not from the note 5 number on which the app is installed, I know other apps (i.e. WhatsApp) allow you to do so easily, how about this one?

Hi nathanhb,

Unfortunately  the Verizon Messages app only works with the number assigned to the phone that the app is loaded to.

If you have a 3rd party app that Forwards your messages, that might be an option.  I can't refer one, but I do know that some are available on Play Store.
