Beginning this morning. I can no longer send notes from e-mail to @VTEXT.com
host vrz-sms.mx.a.cloudfilter.net [34.200.143.151]
SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<[email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]> SIZE=2908:
550 5.1.0 <[email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]> sender rejected AUP#BL
Any advice? or is this a temporary problem at Verizon?

harmsway14, I am here to help. I want to make sure we have all the details so we can get this resolved quickly. Can you please provide me with all the details of your issue? Please include any error messages, and what is seen when you are attempting to use vtext?

I also am having this same issue.
sender rejected AUP#CDRBL
Yes, SPF is set up correctly for my sending domain, as is DKIM signing.
Most are getting through, but some are not. The larger problem is that the error comes back 5 days after the message is sent. E.g. I received a notice on Oct 14 that a message I sent to vtext.com on Oct 9 was rejected.

Thank you so much for the details, ooglek.
Would you be so kind to add the dates when this started to happen?

They want you to buy their texting solution when emails are coming from a business. They are throttling the messages on purpose so you will switch to the paid service. Not sure why they don't just come out and tell you. But this was the result of my ticket / correspondence with them.

We are a large Healthcare organization and stopped receiving these messages as well for a critical application our Plant Facilities team uses. Our Procurement team have spoken to Verizon on the phone 6 times with no results even though our 3rd party vendor provided the below information clearly stating they are being rejected.
Did your team talk with any technical specialists? Our team clearly shows in our logs this entry which I had sent over previously – your team needs to show this to Verizon, this is from our SMTP server logs. This entry shows the Verizon server blocking us (sender rejected). I underlined and boldfaced the IP that rejected us.
12/19/22 13:37:26 SMTP-OU B85D6F5FBC094221B477929A89B44E80.MAI 1132 35.167.120.54 DATE . 250 2.0.0 [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] sender rejected 762 51 TMS Pager - WO #15337
35.167.120.54 is also listed specifically in the links to Verizon support where users have reported but not found satisfaction yet. This IP appears to be related to VText.
@verizonsupport is there someone that can help or do we need to switch to T-Mobile?

Take 2:
I am not a commercial entity.
Any word why this no longer works? It was working literally for years and now it is not. The errors I'm getting are from Verizon's end.
Thank you.

Getting this as well as of recently. I have been using vtext.com for YEARS with no issue. I don't send egregious amounts of messages. All of my servers that I run have rDNS/SPF/DMARC/DKIM you name it. No delivery issues to anyone else (including the "big guys" - Gmail / O365 / Yahoo etc.).
All of a sudden I'm getting messages like:
refused to talk to me: 421 vrz-ibgw-6002a.ext.cloudfilter.net cmsmtp x.x.x.x server temporarily unavailable AUP#CNCT)
Would love to know where that AUP is. CNCT to me seems to say "connection count" ? I had no messages to vtext before this error for over 24 hours. No idea why they are blocking like this now.
Oh well I ordered a USB 4G stick and a pre-paid $5/month SIM and will build my own gateway on a Raspberry PI. It's just a shame as I spend HUNDREDS of dollars / month with VZW on my family's service (5 lines). I'm literally texting myself. So technically if the code was there on their backend, they should be able to validate the destination number as a "paying customer" (me).

Im having the same issue, trying to send email to text messages to myself and getting the error:
[email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] F=<[email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]> R=remote_mail T=remote_smtp H=vrz-mms.mx.a.cloudfilter.net [52.37.233.84] X=TLS1.2:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:256 CV=yes DN="/C=US/ST=California/O=Proofpoint, Inc./CN=*.mx.a.cloudfilter.net" C="250 2.0.0 <[email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]> sender rejected"
Domain has SPF and everything. Was working fine a few months ago and just stopped. The server responds back with a 250 meaning the message was accepted, but the message is not delivered to my phone, it just goes into a black hole.

As a test, what happens when sending a message from the phone to an email account? Does the reply from the email come through?

We started having this problem today. We are a gated community and send text messages to residents when their guests arrive at the gate. We send about 100 emails to Verizon customers each day. This has been quite reliable for several years until about 10:30 this morning. The Outlook mail server reports one of two different messages for each failure. About 700 - 800 of our residents are Verizon customers and the complaints are mounting.
Error #1:
Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that your email system is unable to connecto their email system. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.
